Executive Director: AJ Birardi
AJ’s dedication to this field is rooted in frontline experience. Beginning his career at just nineteen as a Direct Support Professional, he learned early on that true care requires seeing the individual behind the diagnosis. Now, with over a decade of administrative leadership, AJ is deeply committed to ensuring that every support system is person-centered, honoring the unique story, dignity, and potential of each individual we serve. In his free time Aj enjoys spending time with his family.
Assistant Executive Director: Caitlin Braine, MA, LAC, NCC
For Caitlin, clinical expertise is inseparable from compassion. With over a decade of experience supporting the developmentally disabled population and now as a Licensed Associate Counselor, Caitlin is a deeply knowledgeable and committed resource. She uses her clinical background to build wraparound services and ensure that families feel heard, supported, and confident that their loved ones are receiving the care they deserve. In her free time Caitlin enjoys going to concerts, baking and doing arts and crafts.
Therap Administrator: Clare Callahan
Clare started working for ACS two and a half years ago, coming from a culinary background with an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts. While having a passion for cooking, Clare also enjoys spending time with individuals and their families at company events and outings. Having two and a half years of experience in the field so far, Clare has gained another passion. From assisting staff with Therap and other questions to assisting our individuals with crafts and games at events. In her free time Clare enjoys spending time with her family and two cats.
Director of Case Management and Outreach: Christopher Bari
Chris brings with him more than a decade of experience in the Social Services field, working alongside individuals with developmental disabilities of all ages. Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree from William Paterson University. He began working in group homes around New Jersey back in 2013. Having worked for three different group home companies, moving from DSP to Lead DSP to Assistant Group Home Manager to Group Home Manager between 2013 to 2020. Chris has also worked at Specialized Schools around the state, supporting individuals with Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and Autism holding titles such as para-professional, Lead Job Coach, and Special Education Teacher. Chris draws from his years of front-line experience, mixed with his compassion, advocacy, and determination, to serve those in need every day. In his free time Chris enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar and skateboarding.
Onboarding & Activities Coordinator: Randy Washington
Randy is an Onboarding and Events Coordinator with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Caldwell University and a strong background in operations, leadership, and communication. He began his career working in a day program, where he developed key interpersonal and organizational skills, and later served as Assistant Manager at Willow Glen Academy while completing his degree. After graduating, he completed a two-year acting program at William Esper Studio in New York City, where he strengthened his skills in active listening, adaptability, and quick problem-solving. He brings a well-rounded approach to his role, focused on creating seamless onboarding experiences and coordinating engaging, well-executed events.
Director of Case Management and Staff Development: Matthew Dignazio
Matthew is a dedicated professional with a decade of experience in the field of developmental disabilities. He began his career in 2016 while attending Moravian College as a student-athlete, enrolling in a mentorship program at William Penn Elementary School. In this role, he supported children with learning disabilities and developed a strong foundation in individualized educational and behavioral support. Matthew went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in December 2018, with a focus on Sociology and Law. Over the years, he has worked across various specialized educational settings, consistently demonstrating compassion, advocacy, and a strong knowledge of behavioral support strategies. In 2022, Matthew transitioned to Autism Community Services, where he continues to provide high-quality support to individuals exhibiting challenging behaviors, with an emphasis on promoting independence and enhancing overall quality of life. Outside of his professional commitments, Matthew enjoys competing in sports, cooking, and spending time with his family.
